Will Kochi Tuskers Kerala make a Comeback to IPL in 2018?

There is still eight months left for the 11th edition of Indian Premier League but there is a buzz between the the IPL fans  in Kerala, the first ever IPL team from Kerala was Kochi Tuskers Kerala(KTK),the team only played one season and was terminated due to financial issues between the owners of the team and BCCI,and a petition was filed in court by the owners. The verdict from the court came in favour of the Kochi franchise and the court asked the BCCI to pay a compensation of 1080 crores to the franchise. However the owners of the Kochi franchise have asked the administrators to reinstate their team instead of paying the huge compensation amount. This might come as a relief to the BCCI as the amount of 1080 crores is huge and they can easily settle the matter without breaking their bank.
But when contacted a top BCCI official,he told that there is no chance of reinstated the Kochi team and the only way out for them is to accept the one time settlement and put to the matter to rest.

The next season of IPL will be the season when the two old teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals which were suspended willl make a comeback, and the Kochi team owners are expecting to make a comeback with them.Though the reason of suspension of both CSK and RR were different from the Kochi franchise there is a chance of KTK making a comeback as the special general body meeting which took place on May took the decision of out of court settlement on the issue.

There is still eight months left for the league to start and if everything goes right for the KTK franchise and the new entrants Rising Pune SuperGiants and Gujarat Lions, the fans can have the luxury of watching 11 teams fight it out for the trophy in the 2018 season of IPL.
